Just Getting Started

Bros -

I am a long time blogger, and a long time Fantasy Sport participant. I have conducted 3 other blogs in my history, all of which are being put on hold until this blog is up, running, and functioning accordingly. I have been doing Fantasy Baseball for 8 years, and Fantasy Football for 5. In 8 years of competing in Fantasy Baseball, I average 2-4 teams a year, have placed in the top 3 in atleast on league every year since participating, and have won 7 league championships. In 5 years of competing in fantasy football, I average 1-3 teams and have won a championship 4 out of 5 years since participating. I do not tell you this to brag, being the best at fantasy is like being the best at World Of Warcraft, SHIT's JUST NOT REAL, hahaha. But on a serious note, fantasy is thoroughly enjoyable, and involves millions of people into its appropriate sports.

The creation of this blog is my attempt to help any member of all fantasy communities with their team management. I have had success in the past with my teams, and consider my knowledge upper echelon and specifically tactical. Feel free to post on my wall with any questions that you have about your team, and I will do my best to give you the advice you need. The more information about you team, the better suited I will be in helping you out.

Where I come in:

  1. When your waffling on the trading block
  2. When you need to add or drop a player
  3. When you are comparing two players in general
  4. When your league is having issues
  5. When its Saturday and you need to come at with a W on Sunday
  6. When its Monday and you need a strategy to get to Sunday with a commanding lead
These are just a few examples of what I can do.

**Disclaimer:
I am just one man, I have all the same resources (plus maybe a few insider accounts) that you have. I am not saying I know more than you all the time, but I will go inquiry by inquiry and develop a succinct and insightful conclusion.

  1. Yo dude...

    Some advice here.

I have Arod, am enjoying having him, but am not a yankees fan... At the same time, this other dude is obviously a yankees fan (Yank Sea Tic Hldr is his name), and he is offering me trade after trade for Arod. Right now I am playing hardball because he has Pujol. I told him Pujol for Arod, or nothing, but he still keeps sending over trades. Here are some trades, my team and his.

    My Team

    Martin Prado, Atl 1B, 3B, 2B

He keeps sending combinations of CLiff Lee + Mediocre OF (Damon, Mclouth)

He also send me a Lincecum Straight up for AROD

    Let me get some advice.

  2. First things first, do you not have any Bench Players? You didn't list any of you bench players, but you listed some for him. Correct me if I am wrong... Also please let me know what type of league H2H? Rotisserie? Points? Keeper/Non. This is a clear example of some dude wanting Arod just cause he likes AROD, as you said.

Your team is better than his from the get go... He may have Pujols and Lincencum, but after that its a bunch of Starting Pitchers and a few mediocre bats.

Because you are my first post, I am gonna give you the kitchen sink... But my first prognosis it to listen to your gut AROD for Pujols or you walk. Lincecum for Arod make your mouth water a little bit, but lets just not (You have Greinke and Wainwright).

If you must make a trade, and the trade involves AROD and Pujols here is how it should go. You gonna have to use a strategy where you give up 2 Ballers and a mediocre player (that you dont need) to get him to bite.

    Trade A)

    You Send:
    AROD
    Grienke
Ludwick/Madson/Quentin(not all 3, just one, will explain)

    You Recieve:
    Pujols and Lincecum

You may not want to part ways with Quentin, but he hasn't done damn thing since 08, and is so injury prone it make me want to throw up. Madson may be what makes him bite... I dunno if it is your opponents choosing, but he has no RP's and you have 4/5. If this trade works out you are receiving the two best players in baseball in exchange for 2 players who are top 3 at their positions and one in the top 25.
In all honesty, the only way this will work is if this dude is salivating over having AROD on his team.

    Hope this help,

    Cheers
